The Peter Brock Foundation was establish November 1997 to be the driving force that would be instrumental in 'making a difference' to individuals, families and various community groups across Australia. The Peter Brock Foundation will endeavor to uphold the late Peter Brock’s vision.
It is generally accepted that there are enormous needs in society. These needs can be urgent requirements of food, clothing and shelter when natural disasters strike, or day to day life when relationships break down and when people are rendered incapable of sustaining themselves due to illness, job loss and other traumas. The needs of the community arise from attempting to achieve higher goals despite various handicaps.
The call for emotional and motivational support is at an all time high and it is obvious that there is a requirement to address the causes of Youth abandonment. Crisis care and intervention is of the highest priority to us if there are no other avenues for the person to obtain immediate assistance.
